Performer Plunges From High Wire, Sustains Serious Injuries

A tightrope walker performing in Sussex, England on Monday evening, August 19, fell during their act, sustaining serious injuries. The performer, who has not yet been identified, was balancing on a chair on the tightrope when they plunged to the floor in front of the crowd.

Emergency services were immediately called to the scene and the performer was transported to a nearby hospital.
