Deptford family fun day set for Saturday

Free street event packed with games, crafts, music and more

A free family fun day is coming to Deptford on Saturday, August 26.

The event, which will take place on Deptford High Street from 11am to 4pm, will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including:

Games, such as face painting, balloon modelling and a bouncy castle

*

Crafts, such as jewellery making and pottery painting

*

Live music and entertainment

*

Food and drink stalls

The event is being organised by Deptford Town Centre Management, with support from Lewisham Council. It is part of a wider programme of events and activities taking place in Deptford this summer.

Deptford Town Centre Manager, Alison Hutchinson, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer this free family fun day to the community. We hope that everyone will come along and enjoy the variety of activities on offer."
