FA Cup 2023/24: Semifinals to Be Held at Wembley Stadium
No Replays for Semifinals
The Football Association has announced that the semifinals of the 2023/24 FA Cup will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21. This marks a departure from the previous tradition of holding replays for semifinal matches that end in a draw after 90 minutes. Under the new format, the semifinals will be decided on the day, with extra time and penalty shootouts used to determine the winners if necessary.
FA Cup Match Schedule
In addition to the semifinals, the FA Cup also features other key dates throughout the season. The Third Round Proper will be played on Saturday, January 6, 2024, followed by the Fourth Round Proper on Saturday, January 27, 2024. The Fifth Round Proper will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and the Quarter-finals will be played on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
